Coconut Grove Crisis Food Bank
Non-perishable foods are collected the first Sunday of each month for delivery to the Bank.  A  St. Philip’s volunteer is present each Friday to assist in the distribution.  The Committee also provides financial support. 

Casa Valentina
Provides support for Casa Valentina, a home for girls aging our of the Foster Child Program at age eighteen. 

Habitat for Humanity
Conducts two Habitat Work Days each year.  Participated in 2007 in the building of Faith House in conjunction with other churches.  Will continue providing volunteers on other work days from time to time.

Homeless Assistance Center Dinners
Volunteers serve dinners at the Center twelve times per year, serving about 425 residents each time.  Food expenses are provided by corporate sponsors.  

New Life Family Center
Monthly birthday parties are sponsored with food, gifts, and games provided by the Committee.  Parties near Easter, Christmas and Thanksgiving are celebrated in special ways.  Volunteers assist in hosting these parties. Starter Kits are also provided for families leaving the Center

Our Little Roses Orphanage, San Pedro Sula, Honduras
An annual grant is provided for the support of one of the students at an orphange founded by Diana Frade.  In addition, an annual mission trip is conducted in order to provide support at the site.

St. Alban’s Child Enrichment Center
St. Alban’s provides education, health and social services to 300 pre-K children and their parents in some of the poorest areas of Miami-Dade.  We provide financial and volunteer support with such programs as used computers and printers for classrooms, Christmas parties, gifts and maintenance project support.  St Philip’s School mothers and children also plan to provide teaching assistants and “reading buddies” for classrooms this Fall.

Annual contribution to the Rector’s Discretionary Fund.

Holiday Dinners
Arrangements are made to support holiday dinners at Thanksgiving and Christmas time.  Contributions of food and money are sought and volunteer are provided
